'Stuff A Bus' promotion will come to Cloquet Oct. 17

The first annual "Stuff A Bus" promotion will be held in all seven counties that Arrowhead Transit serves.

This promotion asks individuals to bring non-perishable items to a set location and place them inside an Arrowhead Transit bus.

Each event will take one day. The bus will be parked in a local grocery store parking lot and all items donated will be transported (by bus, of course!) to the local food shelf for distribution.

The promotion is scheduled for seven Wednesdays, starting Oct. 3 and ending Nov. 14. Timing is to have all deliveries made in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

In Carlton County, the bus will be parked at Super One Foods on Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Arrowhead Transit is donating the bus, salary of a union driver, and the marketing/public relations coordinator, along with other staff members.
