Katrina Marie Soukkala and Joseph Edward Bahen, both of Maple Grove, Minn., announce their engagement. The couple plans to be married Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Carlton.
Parents of the couple are Rod Soukkala of Carlton, Jackie Soukkala of Cloquet and Joe and Debbie Bahen of Carlton.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn., and is currently employed in First Choice Global Marketing in Minneapolis, Minn.
The future groom is also a graduate of St. Cloud State University and is currently employed at LBLCO Accounting Firm in Minneapolis.
