Shirley Welsh Clark, 75, of LeSueur, Minn., died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007. Shirley was born in Clyde, N.C. Her parents John Anthony Welsh and Marguerite Snyder preceded her in death. Her children were all born in Chillicothe, Ohio, where she lived for 10 years. She spent a large portion of her life in Esko, Minn.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Philip C. Clark; three children and six grandchildren, David and Sarah Clark of Grand Prairie Texas, and their daughters Alyssa and Madison, Samuel and Monica Clark of Le Sueur and their children Andrew, Abigail and Matthew, and Marguerite Clark of Paris, France, and her son Jean (Johnny) Daninos.
Two memorial services are planned to celebrate her life. The first will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 208 Eighth Street, in Cloquet, Minn. The Rev. Linda Lundgren will preside. The second memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church at Warren and Broad Streets in Mankato, Minn. The Rev. Paul Rider will preside.
