Both occupants of a semi tractor-trailer escaped with non-life-threatening injuries after a rollover on I-35 Tuesday.

According to the incident report filed by the Minnesota State Patrol, a 1995 Freightliner DS was traveling northbound on I-35 near milepost 232 in Carlton County at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday. The truck, driven by Charles H. Johnson, 30, of Duluth began to drift onto the left shoulder. Johnson then overcorrected and rolled the vehicle into the right ditch.

Both Johnson and his passenger, Brandy D. Anderson, 33, of Superior, Wis., were transported by Carlton Ambulance to Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet for treatment of minor injuries.

The report stated that the roadway was dry at the time of the incident. Both Johnson and Anderson were wearing seatbelts, and no alcohol was detected.
