The Scanlon Fire Department's Firefighter's Relief Association Annual Ham Bingo event will not be held this year due to reorganizational efforts that include all the members of the newly joined Cloquet Area Fire District (CAFD) Station 3, the Scanlon Station.
This year, the CAFD Firefighter's Relief Association will host a Sportsman's Raffle. Prizes will include but are not limited to, various hunting firearms as well as a stay at the Lodge on Big Sandy Lake. The drawing will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Scanlon Community Center, 2801 Dewey Ave. There will be a $5 donation per ticket. Anyone interested in participating should contact firefighters or stop by local businesses for tickets. Anyone having further questions should contact Jeremy at 218-213-3745.
Look for the CAFD Ham Bingo event next year, to be held the weekend before Easter.
