Kerry and Roni Rodd of Cloquet announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsey Marie Rodd, to Dain Douglas Thul, son of Douglas and Gina Thul of Cambridge, Minn.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Cloquet High School and a 2006 graduate of St. Olaf College. She earned a master's degree in kinesiology, with an emphasis on sport psychology, from the University of Minnesota in spring 2008, and will be working towards her doctorate degree this fall. She is employed by General Mills for the summer.
The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Cambridge-Isanti High School and a 2006 graduate of St. Olaf College. He is finishing his master's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Minnesota, while also working as an engineering intern at Graco Inc. in Anoka, Minn.
The couple will be married July 19, 2008, in Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
