Rebel boys sneak past Cards

Nate Zuk hit a layup with just 1.5 seconds remaining on Friday night to complete a furious comeback and Moose Lake-Willow River won 67-65 on the road in Cromwell.

The Cards charged out to a big lead in the first half and still maintained a 10-point lead at the break, but ML-WR, led by Joe Bednar's 34 points, stormed back in the second half.

Zuk added 12 points to the Rebel totals, Joey Bohaty scored nine, Jim Mach finished with eight and both Taylor Davis and Travis Wagers had two points.

John Hedin, Tyler Burgraff, Cody Hendrickson and Adam Smith all were in double figures with 18, 16, 10 and 10 points, respectively, for Cromwell. Jordan Smith added six and Levi Sheff finished with five points for the Cards.
