Prep report: Barnum hammers Wrenshall with double figures

Jessica Newman (14), Katie Myhre (12) and Jaimee Wickstrom (11) each scored in double figures for the Bombers (9-0 overall, 5-0 Polar League).

Barnum, ranked No. 1 in Class A, is 36-1 in its past 37 home games and has held opponents to fewer than 30 points six times this season.

Newman, who was honored at the game for eclipsing the 1,000-point mark on Dec. 20 at Northland-Remer, has 1,106 career points.

Andrea Gould had a team-high 16 points for the Wrens (3-6, 1-4).
