Amanda Lee Peterson of Montgomery, Minn., and Michael Anthony Franklin of Cloquet were united in marriage Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in The Church of Saint Pascal Baylon in St. Paul, Minn. The Rev. Father David McCauley officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Kathy and Marc Peterson of Montgomery, Jim "Benji" Franklin of Cloquet and Linda and Dave Tridgell of Columbia Heights, Minn.
Grandparents of the couple are Marvin and Ardys Peterson of Bloomington, Minn., and Anna Mae and Bill Clifton of Cloquet.
Matron of honor was Jillian Tenwinkel of Brooklyn, N.Y., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Krista Lindstrom of Fridley, Minn., sister of the groom; Melissa Worm of Prior Lake, Minn., friend of the couple; Natalie Huls of Tampa, Fla., friend of the couple; Marisa Rotter of Farmington, Minn., friend of the couple; and Julie Geraets of Elmwood, Wis., friend of the couple. Personal attendants were Diane Dugas of Forest Lake, Minn., and Geb Lavone of St. Michael, Minn., friends of the bride.
The best man was Louis Abramowski of Minneapolis, Minn., friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Brian Lindstrom of Fridley, brother-in-law of the groom; Mitch Peterson of Montgomery, brother of the bride; Joe Peterson of Eagan, Minn., brother of the bride; Paul Keeler of Apple Valley, Minn., friend of the couple; and Jason Mangan of Cloquet, friend of the couple.

Following a short getaway to a Bed and Breakfast in Vermont, the couple resides in Maplewood, Minn.
The new bride is a 1997 graduate of Montgomery Lonsdale High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis. She is currently employed as the director of community affairs for Northern Dakota County Chamber of Commerce, located in Eagan. She is also an instructor and choreographer at Center Stage Dance in Montgomery.
The new groom is a 1997 graduate of Cloquet High school and a 2001 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis. In August he will start William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. He is currently employed as the director of the Energy & Elections Policy and Political Action Committee, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce in St. Paul.
