Outdoor enthusiasts will have a chance to learn all about the latest outdoor gear during the second Annual Outdoor Sports Expo at Spirit Mountain Aug. 3-5.
"A lot of people don't realize that the Duluth/Cloquet area is one of the five top outdoor destinations in the country," said event organizer Tracy Lundeen. "An event like this is long overdo and to have it at Spirit Mountain is a natural."
Exhibits at the event will feature the newest products, gadgets and gear for outdoor enthusiasts as well as factory displays, an ATV test area and demonstrations.
"The event is held in early August at a time when fall and winter sports enthusiasts are gearing up and excitement is building for the upcoming season," mentioned Lundeen. "Having the event at Spirit Mountain allows us to have both indoor and outdoor exhibits and it opens up unlimited potential for demonstrations and activities."
The Outdoor Expo will also give away a 2007 Can Am Outlander 400 4x4 ATV to someone during the event via a drawing. There will also be stage shows with the popular group, "Da Yoopers," performing their hit song "Second Week of Deer Camp," among other hits.
