Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet is observing national Physical Therapy Month in October.
"The Physical Therapy Department at Community Memorial Hospital has an experienced staff whose aim is to provide prompt, quality rehabilitation services in a friendly atmosphere where the client's goals take priority," said Nancy Taggert, marketing director at CMH.
Therapists at CMH treat individuals of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics and if there is no insurance authorization or certification required, clients are usually offered an appointment within one business weekday of when the request was made.
CMH physical therapists work with clients who have a wide range of conditions. They may be recovering from painful injuries relating to sports, work or other types of accidents.
They also treat post-surgical patients who have had procedures for spinal conditions, total joint replacements and fracture repairs.

Therapists are also trained and qualified to treat patients who have debilitating conditions such as arthritis and neuromuscular disorders, including multiple sclerosis and stroke.
Services are also available for individuals with developmental delays, motor control/balance deficits, as well as some types of dizziness.
The Physical Therapy department has a Women's Health program that includes the treatment of urinary incontinence and pre-partum exercise instruction.
The CMH Physical Therapy department is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays and a limited number of outpatient appointments are also available from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
With a physician referral, physical therapy services are available seven days a week (excluding some holidays) for hospital inpatients and nursing home residents.
