NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF CLOQUET
Notice is hereby given that there will be a public hearing to consider an application from Steven Micke of Reliable Agency, Inc., 803 Carlton Avenue, Cloquet, to rezone a parcel of land from R-2, One and Two Family Residential, to C-1, Neighborhood Commercial. The rezoning, if approved, would authorize conversion of said parcel into a paved parking lot to serve the Reliable Agency office building on Carlton Avenue. The property in question is described as Lots 5 & 6, except the west 88 feet, and Lots 7 & 8, except the Carlton Avenue Right-of-Way, plus the vacated 12 feet of 9th Street, Block 4, Lynd's Subdivision of Outlot 37, City of Cloquet. The property is located at 217 9th Street, Cloquet (the northwest corner of the intersection of 9th Street and Carlton Avenue).
The hearing will be conducted by the Cloquet Planning Commission at its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the Cloquet City Hall, 1307 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet. Persons wishing to comment on the proposal may do so in person at the hearing, or in writing by addressing their comments to the City Planning Department, 1307 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, prior to the hearing.
