NOTICE OF INTENT TO
ACQUIRE LAND IN TRUST
The Superintendent of the Minnesota Agency of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, United States Department of the Interior, has made a final agency determination that the United States will accept the following described land, which is located within the Fond du Lac Reservation, in the name of the United States for the benefit of the Fond du Lac Band of Chippewa of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe Indians:
The parcel referred to as the "Miettunen Parcel" is the tribal parcel proposed for trust status and is legally described as:
The North Half of the Northwest Quarter (N 1/2 NW 1/4) of Section Thirty-four (34), Township Fifty (50) North of Range Eighteen (18) West of the Fourth Principal Meridian, according to the United States Government Survey thereof, St. Louis County, Minnesota, containing 80.00 acres, more or less.

The United States shall acquire title no sooner than thirty (30) days after this notice is published.
This Notice is published in accordance with Title 25 Code of Federal Regulations Section 151.12 (b), as published April 24, 1996 at 61 Federal Register, 18082.
