Brenda S. Nicholson of Brookston and Brian L. Martin of Duluth announce their engagement. The couple plans to be married May 26, 2007, on the bride's fourth-generation family farm in Brookston.
Parents of the couple are John and Kathy Nicholson, formerly of Duluth, now of Pleasant Grove, Ark., and the late Edna Jean Kunelius Nicholson, and Archie and Alice Martin of Cloquet.
The bride-to-be is employed as a senior counselor with Northwood Children's Services. She is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica.
The future groom is a graduate of Lake Superior College and is a materials handler, Level III, for Charter Films.
