Long lines were the norm this morning for early morning voters around Cloquet. By 9 a.m., however, the line at the Cloquet National Guard Armory had subsided enough for election workers to take a breather.

"It's been brisk," said armory Head Election Judge Vivian Bergquist. "We had people wanting to vote at 6 a.m."

She reported no problems during the rush and said they'd registered a large number of voters as well. Polls are open today until 8 p.m.
