A traveling monument to Minnesota's fallen heros in the Iraq war, called Freedom Wall of Minnesota, will stop at the Cloquet VFW Tuesday, July 17, from approximately 3-5 p.m.
"We're traveling around the state with this monument to commemorate fallen soldiers and civilians," said Sandy Anderson, one of the organizers of the monument tour.
Etched in the granite monument are the names of the 61 people killed in Iraq from Minnesota. Names of the two people who most recently died will be added in the near future. Eventually the monument will be permanently affixed in Veteran's Park in Ramsey, Minn.
