Millie E. Leckington, 89, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at Sunnyside Health Center, Cloquet. She was born Feb. 26, 1919, in Prairie Lake Township to Fred and Marie (Versto) Moen. Millie was united in marriage to Henry Lecki...

Millie E. Leckington, 89, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at Sunnyside Health Center, Cloquet. She was born Feb. 26, 1919, in Prairie Lake Township to Fred and Marie (Versto) Moen. Millie was united in marriage to Henry Leckington on Dec. 16, 1936, in Aitkin, Minn. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Christian Women's Council, and the Larson Commons Bible Study.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry; three brothers, Ervin, Fred and Eddie Moen; and one sister, Kay Peterson.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty (Donald) Lehner, Barb Champeaux, and Terry (Al) Chartier, all of Cloquet; seven grandchildren, Sandy Morgan, Kim (Lee) Olsen, Laurie (Bruce) Bodin, Richard Lehner, Heather (Dana) Coyle, Jarod (Alison) Champeaux and Jason Merrill; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held later this week.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff at Sunnyside Health Care for the wonderful care given to Millie.
