Michael Donald Langenbrunner, 57, of Cloquet passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007, at his home. Mike retired from the Carlton County Sheriff's Department after 27 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping, four-wheeling, and fixing up and making improvements to his house. Mike was rarely seen without his best friend and fiance, Susan Lund. Their time together and the many memories they made are priceless. Mike enjoyed spending time with his children and always looked forward to hunting and fishing with his sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Pat Langenbrunner.

Mike is survived by his fiance, Susan Lund of Cloquet; two sons, Miles Langenbrunner and Mark (Kelly) Langenbrunner, both of Cloquet; one daughter, Milissa (Chad) Soukkala of Carlton; two sisters, Donna (Jon) Fuller of Omaha, Neb., and Cindy (Tom) Porta of Cambridge; and three grandchildren, Jaycee and Jayrd Soukkala and MaKayla Langenbrunner.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11, from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service in New Life Community Church, 1699 Highway 210, Carlton.
