Members Cooperative Credit Union has announced plans to open a sixth branch office at Duluth's Miller Hill Mall.
The office, located in the Firestone building just off U.S. Highway 53, will open in January 2009.
"As northeast Minnesota's largest credit union, our latest expansion will help us provide even better service to our members," said MCCU President and CEO Tammy Heikkinen.
"Our new location will be even more convenient for our members and we now have more locations to serve members than any credit union in the region."
The branch will continue to operate as a "shared service center," meaning members of any credit union may handle transactions at the Miller Hill site. MCCU's Spirit Valley branch is also a shared service center.
