Martha R. Menart, 81, of Wrenshall, Minn., passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, in Sunnyside Health Care Center, Cloquet, Minn. She was born Aug. 22, 1929, in Keewatin, Minn., to Peter and Nancy Rajacich. Martha was formerly employed by Weyerhauser Corporation. She enjoyed the animals on the farm, sewing, crocheting, knitting, baking, four-wheeling and fast cars.
She was preceded in death by several siblings.
Martha is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank; children, Frances Jackson, Linda Gulbranson, Peter, Joseph, Frank III and Stan; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary O'Neill and Ann Baker; and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. until the 11 am. memorial service in Handevidt Funeral Home, Cloquet.
