Marion V. Buczynski, 101, lifelong resident of Cloquet, passed away Monday, April 2, 2007, in Sunnyside Health Care Center. She was born April 25, 1905, in Cloquet to William and Frances Pasek. Marion married Andrew Buczynski in 1922. She worked at Diamond Match Mill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, in 1962 and brother "Doc" Pasek.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Telega; grandchildren, Georgene "Gena" (Mike) McCarty and Roberta (Steve) Schaefer; great-grandchildren, Connor McCarty, Elysia, Jordan, Marissa, Kasia and Tirssa Schaefer; brothers, John and Edward Pasek; sister, Rosalie Dunaiski; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 10, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Cloquet. Spring interment will be in Old Calvary Cemetery, Cloquet.
