Marilyn Joy Fetters, 73, of Peoria, Ariz., died Saturday, Sept, 15, 2007, in her home with her family by her side. She was born June 25, 1934, in Carlton to Huldor and Evelyn Hall. Her devotion to family and her joy in serving others made her an exceptional woman and her faith in her Lord Jesus radiated wherever she served.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wallace; her four children, Sherri (Paul) Buckel of Prescott, Ariz., Kathleen (James) Basile of Port Jervis, N.Y., Jeffrey (Debbie) Fetters of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Lisa (Paul) Madson of Peoria, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Donna) Hall and Terry (Gay) Hall; brother-in-law, Merton Fetters; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Beise and Nancy (Derwood) Krueger; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, in Northwest Community Church, 16615 North 43rd Avenue, Phoenix, Ariz. A local graveside service will be held and announced in the Pine Journal at a later date.
