Lynne Marie Reupke, 52, expired Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn., of respiratory failure following a long illness. Lynne Marie Brandt was born Dec. 9, 1954, to Martin and Ionia Brandt at Raiter Hospital in Cloquet, Minn. She spent her growing years in Sawyer, Minn., the Minneapolis suburbs, Long Beach, Calif., and Glenville, Minn., and graduated from Emmons High School in Emmons, Minn. Following graduation she went to Rochester where she worked at Papa John's Restaurant, met and subsequently married Jerome "Jerry" John Reupke on July 12, 1975. The couple relocated to Stewartville, Minn., in 1980. Lynne was currently employed with Alliance Health Care as a home health aide. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Ann, 18, in 1995.
She is survived by her husband, "Jerry" of Stewartville; one son, William John (Bobbie) Reupke with grandsons Jacob and Tanner of Spring Valley, Minn; mother and stepfather, Ionia May and William Maurice Novitski of Northwood, Iowa; father, Martin Peter Brandt of Arkansas; two brothers, Daryl Dean (Virginia) Brandt of Signal Hill, Calif., and Jeffery William (Susan) Novitski of Knoxville, Tenn.; three sisters, Catherine Ann (David) Vogel of Northwood, Iowa, Barbara Ellen Jensen of Albert Lea, Minn., and Patricia Ann (Douglas) Jaspers of Northwood, Iowa; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Griffin-Gray Funeral Home, followed by graveside service and interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, both located in Stewartville, Minn.
