Carlton County caucuses begin Feb. 1

Both the Republican and Democratic-Farmer-Labor caucuses for Carlton County will be held next week.

The Minnesota caucus date of Tuesday, Feb. 1, is around the corner.

For those who want to join their party's caucus, here is the information you need:

For Carlton County Republicans, the caucus will be held in-person at 7 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Four Seasons Event Center and Sports Complex, 1568 Highway 210 in Carlton.

The Democratic-Farmer-Labor party caucus will be held virtually this year. Those interested in participating can fill out a form listed on the DFL website . Forms can be submitted to the Unit Chair Terri Thell, .

They can also be dropped off between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Feb. 1 at local locations. More information on drop off locations can be found at


The caucuses will be a time for participants to discuss leadership and delegates within the parties.
