Al Broeffle is starring as Victor Fleming in Ron Hutchinson's comedy "Moonlight & Magnolias."
Broeffle, a 2006 graduate of Cloquet High School, may be remembered best as Gaston in Cloquet High School's production of "Beauty and the Beast," or by his three years of work with New Wine, Cloquet's Christian touring group.
Today he is making his professional debut in St. Croix Falls, Wis.
"Moonlight & Magnolias" is part of the Festival Theatre's 18th Theatre Series. Performances run the second, third and fifth weekend of July, and again the first two weekends of August.
The show is a hilarious look at the re-writing of the screen play for the epic movie "Gone with the Wind."
