So many books, so little time.

For all those busy people, the Cloquet Public Library has a new service - an Online Book Club that delivers books electronically.

Each day, Monday through Friday, the library e-mails subscribers a portion of a book that takes about five minutes to read. They're able to read two or three chapters from a book during the week. If they like a book, they can check it out of the library. Each week the library features new books.

With 11 book clubs to choose from, there's something for everyone. Patrons can read fiction, non-fiction, romance, business, good news, teen and mystery. They can also listen to audio books in their e-mail and there's even a pre-publication club. You can start reading books in your e-mail before they're even published. Now you can discover great books, even if you're too busy to visit the library.

"This new service makes it easy for people t get back into the habit of reading," said Library Director Mary Lukkarila. "It only takes five minutes a day and it's fun."

You can sign up for the service at the library or at their Web site www.cloquet.lib.mn.us .

You can also forward the e-mails to your friends. It's a great way to stay in touch with friends and relatives who live in other parts of the country.
