To the Editor:
I would like to thank everyone [who] participated in this year's 4th of July Celebration. I would really like to thank John Badger, Jim Nelson and Annie Dugan (Historical Society) for volunteering so much of their time this year to help me. I would also like to thank the volunteers that came forward for the Big Day Cloquet Race. The race was a huge success.
A special thank you once again to Fond du Lac RBC for their generous donation to sponsor Cloquet's fireworks this year.
The "Dash for Cash" was a huge success, sponsored by State Bank, U.S.Bank, Northshore Bank, Wells Fargo and CornerStone banks. We were able to drop $500 in quarters into the sawdust. The kids had a great time and were still finding quarters late in the afternoon.
The concert in the park included The Bricks, Agile, Jury, Breaking Glass, Economies of Sand, Shadows of Me and the Cloquet Community Band. Thank you all for performing in the park again this year.

We had five food vendors, crafters, a moon walk, the Cloquet Armory National Guard, SMDC Life Flight and Doucette's Party Rental. It was just wonderful that everyone came to support the event. Thank you all for your time.
Finally, thank you to the numerous businesses for donating cash to help support the celebration. Thanks Cloquet for supporting our 4th of July Celebration.
