To the Editor:
Attention people of Cloquet! Do you know it's the law that you have to have a license for your inside cat, but the town of Scanlon doesn't have to and neither does the town of Carlton? Only one street divides Scanlon and Cloquet. Does that sound fair? Any ideas of how we can change this ordinance? How about calling the mayor, Bruce Ahlgren?
That's why there are so many cats in shelters being euthanized. It gets expensive to feed them, doctor visits and now an ordinance where you have to pay from $7 to $12 depending if your pet is spayed or neutered.
