Letter to the Editor... Cloquet sports two fine citizens

To the Editor:

I would like to let you know that you have great people living in your community.

On June 20th I was kayaking on the Brule River in Wisconsin and became stranded on the river. My kayak became submerged between a rock and yes, a hard place, a log. No matter how hard I pushed, pulled or tugged, I was not going to get my kayak free. As I sat on top of my kayak, a group of kayakers came by. Luckily they were standup men with a conscience and did not paddle on by. Not only did they get me back on the river, they got me calmed down enough to enjoy the rest of the trip. Cloquet, be proud of two of your finest citizens.

Adam and Rich, I've already "passed it on" and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
