Good Samaritans live here in Cloquet

To the Editor:

I would like to let the people of Cloquet know that you should be proud of a couple who are truly good Samaritans. When traveling through Cloquet in early August I inadvertently left some very important papers and a large sum of money on top of our vehicle when leaving the Perkin's parking lot. The man, who is a resident of Cloquet, saw my case lying in the street and through diligent effort managed to find me on vacation in Ontario. I was able to meet my new friends and retrieve all my papers and money last week. Thanks to them I am able to continue my vacation as well as having a restored faith in the honesty and integrity of many individuals, especially all of you from Minnesota.

P.S. The reason I was in Minnesota was to have my broken wrist repaired at Mayo Clinic - another wonderful tribute to your state!
