LeRoy "Lee" John Walfred Koskela, 70, passed away in his home in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Wednesday, June 13, 2007, after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was born Jan. 24, 1937, in Minnesota, the son of Leo and Marian Koskela. Lee worked as a supervisor in the department of vocational rehabilitation for the state of Minnesota for 36 years, retiring in 1999. He and his wife of 47 years, Lois, moved to Lake Havasu city in June of2000. Lee will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Lois Mary Koskela of Lake Havasu City; sons, Dean Koskela and Chris (Roberta) Koskela; daughter, Tammy (Dave) Stemper; sister, Sharon (Jim) Huckabey; and seven grandchildren.
