John M. Mullen, 78, of Florida, formerly of Cloquet, passed away March 18, 2007. He was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Cloquet to Hugh and Elizabeth (Young) Mullen. He worked for Northwest Paper Co. until 1966, and later retired from 3M in 1991.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Darla Geisenkoetter; brothers, Jerome and Manny; and sister, Fern Johnson.
John is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Tom) Nylen, Linda (Art) Talvitie, Lolita Mullen, Doris (Tom) Bloom; son, John (Deb) Mullen; son-in-law, Al Geisenkoetter; grandchildren, Robert, Alan, Gwen, Tonya, Travis, Todd, Jake, Tara, and Mark; great-grandsons, Connor and Logan; sisters, June Myllymaa, Faith (Alvin) Sloan, Margaret (Les) Clemens, Madonna Morrissette; brother, Dale (Denise) Mullen; many nieces and nephews; long-time companion, Anna List; and all the friends from Camperville.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at the Fond du Lac Tribal Center, 1720 Big Lake Road, Cloquet, Minn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Diabetes Association.
