Members Cooperative Credit Union has hired Jeff Papas, 43, of Cloquet as its new marketing manager.
Papas spent the last 12 years as chief communications liaison for the city of Duluth, handling media relations, public relations and advertising.
"We're very excited to have a professional of Jeff's caliber joining our team," said MCCU Vice President of Business Development Robin Hayes. "We're delighted to have Jeff on board because we know what skills he brings to our organization."
Prior to his employment with the city of Duluth, Papas worked for KDLH-TV and KBJR-TV as a reporter, anchor, and finally as managing editor at KBJR. His media and public relations career has spanned 25 years in both Duluth and the Twin Cities.
