On a cold and blustery Friday night, the Cloquet Lumberjacks used the cozy confines of the Cloquet High School gymnasium to rout the Marshall Hilltoppers 63-37 in girls basketball.
While the weather outside contained a mixture of rain, snow and heavy wind, the Lumberjacks stormed to a 36-18 halftime lead and were never threatened by the Hilltoppers.
Kami Diver led the offense for the Jacks by collecting 23 points. Jes Vork was also in double figures with 12 points for Cloquet.
Both Stephanie Carlson and Maggie Lane had 10 points for the Hilltoppers who struggled against the Jacks' defensive pressure the entire night.
Brianna Henagin added seven points for Cloquet, it was six for Kialee Kutter, both Colleen McFarlane and Sara Frank added four points, Annabel Morrisroe chipped in with three while Becca Sorenson and Julia Nell each finished with a pair of points.

Of the 23 points Diver scored in the game, 15 of those came from three-point zone as she hit five long-range bombs in the game.
