The Arrowhead Regional Arts Council recently awarded grants totaling $3,960 in the McKnight/ARAC Individual Artist Career Development Grants Program and $3,000 in the McKnight/ARAC Artist of Color Career Development Grants Program.
Among the recipients of the Artist of Color Career Development Grants was Elizabeth Jaakola, a vocalist from Cloquet, who was awarded $1,0000 to produce a CD containing recordings of music she has composed, performed and produced.
