Hugo Gustave Bohm, 92, of Hutchinson, Kan., died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, in Hutchinson Hospital. Hugo was born June 6, 1914, in rural Litchfield, Watonwan County, Minn., to Frank and Karen Bohm. Hugo attended and graduated from school in Butterfield, Minn. He was united in marriage to Anna Margaret Anderson in St. James, Minn. She later died on July 17, 2003. Hugo worked as a heavy equipment operator for Joyce Construction and owned and operated Bohm Contractors. He later went to work for the Carlton County Highway Maintenance Department in Minnesota. In 1972 he moved from his rural home near Barnum to McAllen, Texas, in 2002 he moved from McAllen to McPherson, Texas, and then in 2004 he moved to Hutchinson. Hugo was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Emmanual Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Hugo was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna; two brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by hi son, Norris Bohm of Hutchinson; two grandchildren; and brothers, Frank Bohm of San Diego, Calif., and Harold Bohm of Minnesota.
Private family services and interment were held.
