Helen V. Frank, 87, of Cloquet, Minn., died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, in Sunnyside Health Care Center, Cloquet. She was born in 1920 in Floodwood to Paul and Anna Long. Helen was a graduate of Floodwood High School and married Paul Frank on Nov. 2, 1946. She had been an employee of Diamond Match and Potlatch. Helen enjoyed camping, fishing trips to Canada, crocheting, embroidery and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul, on April 27, 1974; and two brothers, John and Ed Long.
Helen is survived by two sisters-in-law, Maralyn Frank of Cloquet and Ida Peterson of Duluth; many nieces and nephews; and her extended family at Sunnyside Health Care Center.
Visitation was held from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service, Wednesday, Dec. 26, in Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet, followed by refreshments in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
