Grant Thomas Kamunen Heroux, 15, of Cloquet went to be with his Savior Tuesday, April 17, 2007. He was born June 17, 1991. He loved music, acting, friends, family, travel and his dog, "Star." Grant played many string instruments and was a proud member of the Cloquet High School orchestra, the Cloquet High School choir, the Knowledge Bowl team, drama and the church band. He was a new member to the track team. He enjoyed skiing, biking, snorkeling and scuba diving in the Caribbean, and he went rafting out West several times with his father on the Colorado River.
He will be sadly missed by his mother, Lisa Kamunen; father, Matthew Heroux; grandmothers Irene Kamunen and Beverly Todd; aunt, Sue (Thomas) Flynn; and cousin and godmother Kris Kamunen and cousin Jenn Fagre.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 20, at Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet, and resume Saturday, April 21, from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 12th Street and Doddridge Avenue, Cloquet.
