Ameriprise Financial hosted the Cloquet Educational Foundation Golf Tournament Aug. 13. It was a huge success with 115 golfers playing in the tournament at Cloquet Country Club.
Unlike most charity golf tournaments where only a portion of the proceeds go to the charity, 100 percent of the proceeds from this event was given to the Cloquet Education Foundation. The sponsoring business, Ameriprise Financial, covered the tournament expenses.
The event raised $5,800 in support of the work of the Cloquet Educational Foundation.
Craig Swenson, Mark Cool, Paul Munson, Paul Roy and Tyler Kocon from Ameriprise Financial organized this well-planned, exciting event.
The committee extends a thank you to the Cloquet Country Club, Upper Lakes Foods, Super One Foods, Cub Foods, Exchange Bakery and Sue Olson for their contribution to the meal served at the event.
