Looking for a new gift idea? Love animals but can't have a pet? Friends of Animals Humane Society of Carlton County (FOA) has just the solution for you.
For a pledge/donation of $30, you can sponsor an animal at the shelter to give them a head start at finding a permanent home.
You will receive a photo of your sponsored pet along with a brief biography.
Donations can be cash, check or credit card. Forms are available from Friends of Animals, 218-879-1655, or you can download a form from the Web site at www.foaonline.org/helpfoa.html . You don't have to have a form, just send your donation to the shelter to the attention of Jane Frydenlund.
