To better serve the Cloquet and surrounding area residents, the Friends of Animals Humane Society shelter has expanded its hours.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the shelter hours for viewing animals will be from noon to 7 p.m. Adoptable animals may be picked up between the hours of noon and 4 p.m.
Business hours Monday through Saturday will be noon to 4 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 7 p.m., and closed on Sundays and holidays. The shelter is located at 1418 Highway 33 S., Cloquet, near Wal-Mart.
The FOA Human Society and Animal Rescue of Carlton County will also participate in the Carlton parade on Aug. 27 and the Cloquet Labor Day parade. They wil hand out dog biscuits along the parade route if your pet is with you.
