Several Cloquet organizations and companies will host blood drives in February 2009 for Memorial Blood Centers.
"Giving blood is easy, safe and convenient," said Laura Kaplan, marketing and communications manager for Memorial Blood Centers. "There will be many opportunities right in Cloquet for residents and employees to roll up their sleeves and give a pint of blood."
The February 2009 blood drives in Cloquet include:

- Feb. 9 at Curves, 1111 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, from 2:30-6 p.m. Call Janice Laurie at 218-879-2423 to schedule an appointment.
- Feb. 19 at USG Interiors, 35 Arch St., Cloquet, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call Nicole Lewis at 218-878-4013 to schedule an appointment.

While walk-in donors are always welcome, appointments can be made in advance to ensure a particular time slot. To register for the blood drive, go to memorialbloodcenters.org to make an appointment.
