The Fond du Lac girls basketball team split a pair of games this past week. On Friday FDL downed Four Directions 51-27 and on Tuesday they fell to McGregor 89-40.
Against Four Directions Wausa Sandman led the scoring with 18 points, Liz St. John added 10, Emily Two Stars scored nine, Tasheana Rule finished with eight, and Star Webster, Shawna Defoe and Erin Defoe all had a pair of points.
Fond du Lac led at the half 21-12 and then went on a strong 30-13 second half run.
- Tuesday the Ogichida played a tough game against a strong McGregor team, but still fell in a game FDL trailed 44-21 at the break.
Sandman led FDL with 23 points, both Emily Two Stars and Star Webster had five points, Tasheana Rule scored four, Liz St.John added two points and Larrissa Bosto finished with a point.
Dani Hawkinson led the Mercs with 27 points.
