After over two years as interim pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church of Cromwell and Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Wright, Pastor Janeva Stromberg is leaving. Her last services will be Sunday, Dec. 28.

"Pastor Janeva will be missed at the round table at the Country Inn," said church member Don Oman. "She will be missed for her wonderful and meaningful sermons, for her sense of humor, for her counseling of those in need, and for her officiating at nearly 40 funerals. We will also miss her husband, Donovan, and of course, Lena."

A time for fellowship is planned at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 9:30 a.m., after an abbreviated 9 a.m. service on Dec. 28.

A special Farewell Program and Potluck Lunch will be held at 11:30 a.m., following the 10:30 a.m. service, at Bethany Lutheran Church on Sunday, Dec. 28.

Bring your favorite Pastor Janeva stories to share along with something for the potluck following the program. Members of Bethany and Bethlehem and all area residents are encouraged to attend.
