Cloquet Police Department sent an advisory message to the public at approximately 4:19 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, warning of a unexpected road closure in the city due to a fallen tree.
The tree is directly blocking areas of 2nd Street located south of Carlton Avenue. There does not appear to be significant property damage.
According to the message, affected areas of the road will be closed for several hours, which will result in traffic detours.
Those traveling through the area are advised to use State Hwy 33 or 3rd Street as an alternative route.
