AlBrook closed out their regular season last Wednesday on the road against Babbitt-Embarrass. The Knights had a strong game from running back Eric Shere and they handed the Falcons a 12-6 loss in Babbitt.
"The game kind of reflected our season," said AlBrook coach Larry Anderson. "We played the game with only three standards of lights on the field, the four other ones were out. There was no power to the scoreboard or the press box."
There was, however, a lot of power in Shere's legs as he ran for a game-high 83 yards and a touchdown in leading his team to victory.
"The field had not been painted and it was two equally talented teams playing," mentioned Anderson. "The best thing about the game was the kids got to compete and had fun I hope."
Levi Jennings caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Sam Swanson in the second quarter to start the scoring for the Knights. The conversion run failed and entering halftime the Knights held a 6-0 lead.

Shere cranked off a 30-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but again the Falcons swarmed on defense to stop the conversion run, leaving the Knights with a 12-0 lead.
Brock Wilton scored on a pitch to the outside on a fourth and 5-yards to go play for the Falcons, but that was all the offense they could generate for the evening.
The loss effectively ended the season for the Falcons who did not qualify for the sectional playoffs this year.
