A year removed from a winless regular season, the AlBrook Falcons are looking at drastically improving. The Falcons lone win of the year came in the first round of the playoffs, but they will need to be much more consistent if they are to compete at the next level.

"Without question our goal for this year is to win more games," said Damian Paulson, head coach of the Falcons. "We need to improve our rebounding and I do think if we can rebound we will win more games."

After putting up a goose egg in the win column during the regular season the Falcons finally came up with their first win when they defeated Lakeview Christian Academy in the first round. In the second round the Falcons lost to the Floodwood Polar Bears.

"That was a good Floodwood team," recalled Paulson.

The Falcons will return three starters and a host of other players who saw extended action. Back are sophomore guard Bryce Karpinnen, junior forward Kolten Karpinnen, junior forward Travis Behning, senior forward Aaron Olson, junior forward Damondaye Gaines, senior Nate Fremling and junior Cody Anderson.
