Foul trouble on key players was enough to put AlBrook in too big a hole to climb out of in Monday night's loss to Cherry. The Tigers led 29-20 at halftime and then hung on for a 46-36 win.

"Two of our starters, Emily Anvid and Andrea Morris, got into foul trouble early and missed a huge part of the first half," said Falcon coach John Villebrun. "Our younger players on the bench came in and really played well in extended minutes."

The Tigers picked up 20 points from Laura Griffiths and 11 points from Kaci Johnson. The pair were the only players in double-digits for Cherry.

Meanwhile, the Falcons got a strong game from Kayla Blom who finished with 17 points, Anvid added nine, Abby Otis chipped in with four, Ariel Morris scored three, Katie Capriglione added a pair of points and Andrea Morris had a point.

"I thought we did very well defensively; however, we missed a lot of shots on offense," explained Villebrun. "We shot around 15 percent for the game and we missed some layups that we normally would make. Any time you have that low of a shooting percentage, you aren't going to win very many ball games."
