The End of Life Committee at Sunnyside Health Care Center recently held a bake sale to raise money for the purchase of a special chair that turns into a bed and can be used by family/friends of residents who are in their last stages of life.
This chair allows family and friends to spend those final hours close to their loved ones.
A formal "End of Life" program will begin at Sunnyside Health Care Center in 2007.
