Barnum hires new superintendent
Barnum School District has hired a new superintendent. Michael C. McNulty accepted the job offer and the school board approved it April 29. He is replacing long-time superintendent David Bottem.
McNulty will begin at Barnum July 1, the beginning of the new fiscal year. He is currently employed at LeSueur-Henderson High School as a director of technology and has had four years of prior experience as a superintendent.
Bottem was a Barnum elementary teacher for 18 years and principal in Hinckley six years before spending the last 18 years as Barnum superintendent. He will retire June 30.
